So instead of being left alone to survive a while, I’ll have cluster B personality types seeking to use me up as fast as possible?

I think I’d rather be treated like a bag of cheap weed, thnx.

Don’t be ridiculous, I’m more of an empty plastic shopping bag with a rip, hang by the handle on a tree branch.

The groceries that come out of the plastic shopping bag?

They’re the family of the plastic shopping bag?

So when we’re in the shop, filling the bag, are we impregnating the bag, and the pregnancy lasts for the duration of the journey home, and a typical healthy birth involves removing the groceries from the bag, and putting them in the cupboard and fridge and freezer and fruit-bowl etc.

Then sometimes there’s a more difficult pregnancy and labour… like whatever’s going on there… up tree branches!? And still there are a family of groceries in there?

        … I think I should stop over-thinking this.

Back when plastic shopping bags were more common, people would often keep them by stuffing them into another plastic shopping bag. Liz here is threatening a plastic bag that’s stuck in a tree by telling it that she’s going to fill it up with other plastic bags.

Best time I ever had was with a cheap bag of weed. We grew it ourselves. I brought a pumpkin-in-the-shell stew to my friends’ cannabis harvest party. It had been hanging in baskets for weeks, and it was all finally dry. We smoked and feasted like kings that night. It was awesome.

I was at a harvest party once. We all sat around a long table, trimmed weed, told jokes, and smoked a MASSIVE amount of weed. It was pretty fun. Yeah right, it was AWESOME!

It’ll do that. It gets a terrible reputation, but it has both messed with my mind and also, 30m later, I feel fine.

And putting the recreational side of the drug aside, it’s great in a clinical setting as well. I’ve been out of the EMT game for a bit, but I recall there being discussion of adding it to the repertoire of paramedics to deal with severe pain, as opposed to opiate administration. There are very few contraindications for ketamine, and nothing takes away pain like leaving your body behind.

I know a couple people using it for mental health related reasons, under the care of a doctor. One goes for injections every couple weeks, the other gets these troches, meant to be placed buccally in the mouth. They both seem to experience positive effects from it.

My experience is limited to the abuse half, but positive effects as well.

First time I tried to buy weed, I was sold mixed herbs, by the french exchange student. Cheeky git. I’m still pleased with my effort, as a 13 year old. First opportunity, taken. Pity it was bunk. Good lesson, learned early.

Did you have the other kid rubbed out? You can’t just let that go. He goes off to America as an exchange student, and never returns.
