This is a main part of the reason, yes. They actually innovated and did something that pushed the technology forward to be much more efficient, which we first saw with DeepSeek R1 for different reasons.

They want BEV owners to feel the same financial shit as those who made bad decisions buying massive gas guzzlers. It’s a ploy to get people avoid buying BEVs now that they’re seeing them gain popularity. They won’t be able stop the transition that’s coming, BEVs are the future, more efficient, cleaner, resilient to global geopolitical shit.

There’s nothing stopping you from creating a room for that and inviting people.

In hindsight the accounts counter was incorrect it was adding up all the accounts from every room without considering that many of the same accounts come from different rooms. I’ll have to add a deeper tracker which I don’t think is necessary to track individual accounts, outside of the scope of the activity tracker.

I think it will, another reason I built this, because new people coming to matrix will need a way to browse rooms more easily.

The biggest problem I’ve noticed is that the amount of “Members” is displayed in clients, but so many rooms have a lot of “Members” but no real activity. Which is what this tracker attempts to solve by looking at actual chat messages and timestamps.

Being a doomer about climate change doesn’t help. We need to be realistic and take action in everything we do. People who think their actions do not make a difference are a part of the problem. Corporations hold a lot of blame, but also take some personal responsibility, you’ll feel better by doing your part. How hard is it to not eat beef?
