      Fuck streaming app designers.

Amazon Prime, I’m looking at you. What a god-fucking-awful UI.

Apple TV, the supposed “intuitive software company” MY ASS. How the fuck am I supposed to know which giant button on the screen is currently selected? Oh, it’s the one that’s 5% larger than the rest? Ffs

Jellyfin, an OSS app, is better than that garbage.

So much UI is utter shit these days.

Amazon I pretty confident doesn’t try to have intuitive UI. I think they use dark patterns to confuse you into spending money

Apple used to champion intuitive UI but now seems to value form slight more than function

Jellyfin has motivation to have an intuitive UI because the people making it also use and support it

Oh, Amazon is definitely all about the dark patterns.

If the family didn’t already pay for Prime for shipping, I probably wouldn’t even use it (despite it having a lot off stuff we watch).

Yesterday I watched my cat squish behind the water bowl against the wall, then stretch over it to drink from the very front lip of the water fountain.

There is no order when it comes to cats. They make their own rules.
