    I think if Charles Xavier (from X-men) made Cerebro in real life, he would quickly end up burning the building and end up living in a remote cave somewhere.

        If direct mental telepathy ever naturally evolved in the human family line, I suspect it would not have been passed down to successive generations, since the afflicted would probably become babbling lunatics.

        I’m sure it’s not going to be telepathy but force installed brain chip of some sort and probably happens first on infants and for good sounding reasons but then authorities start misusing it.
