I don’t think this post is implying “addiction” at all. I think it is more referring to the fact that taking any hallucinogen at such a young age is a bad idea because your brain is still developing. The drug is likely affecting brain development in some way or another.

It’s sort of like practice. Young relationships allow you to make mistakes to learn from firsthand while it is less important. Making those mistakes as an adult in a more serious relationship has worse consequences.
