No, this is not possible for security reasons. Tuta does not support the use of third-party email clients or the protocols IMAP/POP3/SMTP as we cannot guarantee end-to-end encryption of your data. Instead, Tuta offers email desktop clients for Linux, macOS and Windows as well as a web client and apps for Android and iOS. my required functionality is the ability to integrate other services like paperless etc… In my support requests to them they made it very clear that they don’t aim to provide that.

An email provider who doesn’t lock you into their ecosystem and doesn’t collaborate with law enforcement without putting up a fight.

Perhaps they’ve changed, but last I checked they didn’t allow IMAP/POP3 due to “security concerns”.
