        They didn’t said no, they didn’t say yes either. And he took the lack of negative as consent. He was wrong, and has since recognized as much and promised to be different. Dude is a creep but he is not nearly the worst. He has always agreed with the victim’s recollection of the events and haven’t tried to twist their words. He thought it was OK and he got consent, didn’t realize he was wrong until later. In the history of the Me Too movement, he had the best reaction one could hope from an aggressor.

        whoops my bad, i think i misremembered that they said no. they were stunned into silence and then he did it anyway. and then claimed that he always asked first, in order to minimise his responsibility.

          In that case I think you should edit your comment to reflect that. Not least because this is apparently an “all claims, no sources” type of subject.
