What’s more, it was an extra long cycle because my washing machine is dying and it got stuck with an error, so they spent several hours soaking, case and all.
Well, I just charged them and apparently they work fine. I don’t know how long they’ll last after this kind of treatment, but just the fact that they didn’t die immediately deserves a commendation IMO.
fwiw many noise-cancelling head/earphones also have a “transparency mode”, it draws more power but at least on my Nothing CMF buds 2 it’s… eerily good. Like i can literally forget i’m wearing earphones, it’s nuts, and those are cheap ones!
