    I’m 60, American, and every shower in every home I’ve lived in had a handheld shower, since I was a kid.

    It’s not an American thing. It’s just a certain people thing. I expect there are plenty of people in other countries who also don’t use them.

    Beyond that, yeah, I agree, these things are the way to go:

      I mean, I was mostly trying to be sensationalist about something that doesn’t really matter much, but the US is currently trending away from handhelds. Which i personally find silly as they’re just an all around better experience for me. But “there’s currently a downward trend” is much less fun to write than “sniff”
