When I was expecting an important package that couldn’t be delayed I sat in my garage with the door open until that delivery arrived. There was no way they were pulling that on me.
It’s even worse for me when I’m able to track the driver on the map…
Drive after them to get it sooner.

Home Depot, at least the one near me, has free same-day delivery. I suspect it won’t last much longer, but you can get practically anything they sell delivered for free. It’s stupid, and I feel guilty for using it, so I don’t do it often.

Fucking UPS. Drove in to work on my day off because I needed the $30,000 delivery. My mother-in-law was going for open heart surgery on Moday, I couldn’t come in during the next 7 days.
UPS driver, walks up to the door, sticks a missed delivery note on the door and walks the fuck away.
Didn’t ring the bell, didn’t knock, didn’t even wait 10 seconds.
