    Depends on the scope! To stick with your analogy, there’s currently a product you need to drive around to the back of the store, load in your truck, and assemble at home.

    There will be a new area in the store dedicated to that product 95% assembled, with people who need to be knowledgeable on 5% that customers need to do.

    Kinda clumsy I know, maybe I’m missing the point of the post.

      I gathered that your earlier comment’s wording implied your primary work was in computer programming, so the responder assumed the kinds of changes you were talking about were normal changes to the product/code, as opposed to operational changes within the company. What you described sounds like it does appropriately qualify for the “operational” category.
