I remember when before every channel didn’t have programmes on all day (in the UK, so only four channels at the time). I used to watch nature footage with classical music played over it on BBC2 which was put on as a filler. Loved that. Now it’s all repeats and mindless daytime TV crud.
I used to get up so early on Saturdays that the test pattern was still on, and that’s a whole topic of conversation unto itself.
Was it the one with just colored bars or was it the one with the Native American?
