If spending time with your wife and kids is more important to you, find things you can do together. I don’t know how old your kids are, but here are some ideas. You run and the kids bike along or you push a stroller. Play a game with your kids where when you lose you have to do ten pushups or squats. The kids maybe run a circle through the room or jump three times. Ask your wife if she wants to do any sport together when the kids are asleep.

The phrase “you can’t outrun a bad diet” exists for a reason. If you are not already doing lots of sports your body simply cannot handle the 1-2 hours if intense activity every day to burn off that caramel latte and bag of chips. Then, when you do get to the level where you can do lots of sports, you will notice a bad diet impacts your progress and recovery and you are stuck eating a lot, but mostly healthy food.



I’ve seen a timelapse of sleeping squirrels before and they sleep in any and every position possible and keep changing it up.
