Depends on the country. Lawyers in Germany have a minimum rate of around 220€/h. But when you factor in tax, cost of coworkers, cost of the subscriptions to legal commentaries, length of education (regularly 5 years at university + 2 years in practical education) etc. it’s actually not too much.
I know a vet who used to do the ‘relief shift’ thing, and he was pulling $200/hr. I would imagine a doctor can swing it as well. And yeah, if I even did that for two months, it would be life changing money for me.
As someone who has worked for €5/hr, $300/hr is astronomical
