The crossfit where I live shut down a few years ago because the whole crew were sleeping with each other’s spouses and everyone figured it out and had a huge fight and everyone quit the gym. Whackos.
And the only reason I know that is because the woman I was seeing at the time was in CF at another gym in another city and knew it was happening as it sent shock waves through the CF community. Whackos.

Okay, to be fair, at a kind of crummy regular gym I went to, all the staff were fucking all the other staff. I’m not sure I blame this on CrossFit.
Probably not a CF-only thing, however my current parter of more than 7 years goes to the YMCA gym 3 times a week and has never accidentally fucked anyone else.
At least that I’m aware of.
I was married and have been fooled before, so maybe my history is a little suspect.
My trick is, I just don’t go to the gym.

Exactly. It’s sad, but in America, if you say something to a cop, and the cop, for example, “misremembers” and says that you confessed to a crime, you can be in hot water. If you simply don’t speak to a cop, then it’s more difficult for the cop to “misremember”.
That’s an extreme example, and it’s getting less likely with cops wearing more bodycams, but there’s simply no reason to take the risk of talking to a cop.
