Even in the US where customers rights are more of a suggestion than a set of laws, pulling that stuff should end them on your mail provider’s shit list.
Over here they get fined, and I think it can be for every single mail sent after the unsubscribe action
I am so used to the unsubscribe button not even doing anything that it is actually easier to simply add the sender to my block list.
