Wow. She’s done nothing but piss off everyone in Virginia. Shocked to see a decent law come out.

For a second I read this as “Vagina Expands Paid Sick Leave” and was like “yep, that seems reasonable”

Europeans often ask me how Americans know when they should use sick leave. Like, how do I know if I’m going to be more suck later and need it more then? And what if I am sick more than I have leave?

I don’t really know what to tell them. My glib answer is, “you lose your job, your insurance, get kicked out of your home, and probably die”.
