I love buying pre-owned stuff.

There is a lot pre-owned stuff not worth spending money on because it’s basically already worn-out. There is also a ton of pre-owned stuff that will last for years more, where the original owner didn’t need it anymore for whatever reason. If you know what to buy, second hand is amazing value. I love getting that value too, but it does take some understanding or knowledge.

I have a Liebherr fridge that’s 20 years old, got it second hand and just works like expexted. The plastic elements start breaking piece by piece (a freezer drawer, a door shelf, the lamp cover), but i still consider it trustworthy and would buy again.

I think if they had polled experts instead of regular people the result would have been closer to your expectations. I wonder how much desinformation plays a role in these numbers, since China and Russia put much more effort in influencing foreign individuals. They are certainly more able to be a threat to world peace, both now and in 2018.

No obviously, also weren’t a direct threat to world peace either. Kind of meant to say, what the hell did we know about the situation in 2026 8 years ago.

In 2018 China seemed only a threat to Taiwan and Russia seemed only a threat to Georgia. But yeah, still crazy numbers. The really absurd thing is that there is not a single pandemic virus in the list.

Solar panels can be recycled,

Most can’t, especially the old ones are glued shut.

If you keep them mint in box they will lose value while also not providing value to you, these are only sold to generate profit so please at least use them once.
