    I’ll say this: I am superduper into hairy dudes, and I have observed that bald dudes are extremely hairy everywhere else.

    2. oh look! As I’m lost a little bit of my own hair, I’m also getting even more hairy myself. I’m a little turned on by that, too!

    3. in this increasingly complex and terrifying world, in this swirling morass of insecurities, ‘losing my hair’ is one less thing I need to worry about. I’ll take that as a win if that’s something that just doesn’t bother me. And, to be perfectly, Frank, I have had the privilege to sport a mohawk since I was 17, and I’m 49 now. I have definitely “made the most of it“ the flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long, and I am perfectly happy with the end result. 🤟

    My introduction to chipped pets:

    I once adopted a cat from an NYSPCA truck in Brooklyn. two days later, she escaped from my apartment, never to be seen again. Or so I thought…

    Six years later, a cat shelter in Queens contacted me asking me if I had lost a cat. I said that yes I had - once, long ago - is she OK? They said yes, she’s in great shape. I told her that she ran away six years ago, and they told me that she had clearly been well cared for all that time, and it seemed that she had only recently run away, probably in the last few days. Did I want her back?

    I said no, she obviously hated me from the moment I adopted her, which is probably why she ran away two days later. Do you think she will be adopted quickly? They told me that, as we were speaking, two different families were already looking at her. I said that it was clear she was in better hands than mine, thanks for the call, and said goodbye.

    (I got another cat the day after she ran away)

    My favorite when I was a kid was absolutely, and without a doubt Second Reality by Future Crew. Full screen 3-D object rendering at 30 frames a second on a 486SX/25 CPU without a graphics card. in 1993

    Future Crew, active in the early 90s, was a legendary group within the demoscene. They were acclaimed for their groundbreaking demos, like “Second Reality”, that demonstrated advanced programming, visual artistry, and music composition. These works set new standards for what was possible in real-time computer graphics, and they inspired countless artists and programmers around the world. Despite the group’s dissolution in 1994, Future Crew’s influence on the demoscene and the broader fields of graphics and game development is undeniable, and their legacy continues to inspire creativity in the digital world.

    Edit: I remember my friend Nick brought back a copy of Second Reality from ASSEMBLY 93, an annual convention of assembly developers where they would show off their programming prowess with these demos. Me and my friends got to see it before it hit the BBSs and Usenet. So fresh, yo!
