It’s important to not feel over confident. That leads to less turn out because people think their victory is already secured without them participating.

Biggest hangup I think for men is “what if I have a weird shaped head” or something that looks strange to them. If I knew how I looked bald before I shaved it all, I would have done it sooner.
For me it was when wind started becoming my enemy lol
Part of why it’s important for people is their feeling of agency in their appearance.
The body positivity comes from the acceptance and welcome for what is seen as a very difficult hurdle for men to grasp and accept. R/Bald does that without ridicule or judgement.
