7 days agoThis is the right answer to this question. You have to be ready to learn a new OS if you want to switch to Linux. IMO that doesn’t mean you should expect to be doing everything through the command line but if even a ui difference is going to be a problem then it’s probably not time.
For me vanilla gnome is the best DE because of the thoughtful design it has. I rarely use any extensions because I like the way its workflow is designed out of the box (though sometimes I’ll use blur my shell to feel stylish).
