By this logic, anyone who doesn’t believe in Marxist Leninism shouldn’t use Lemmy. I don’t like Windows for other reasons, but the personal life of the person who made it should not be a factor at all. You would in fact be severely limited if you only used products made entirely by people who are ‘perfect’ in every way.

He’s right that we shouldn’t infantilise teenagers by calling them ‘children’, lumping them in with prepubescent children as if there’s no difference between them.

Warm light feels so …indoors… to me, I don’t quite know how to put it, but I don’t like it. It makes me feel like I’m in a 90s home. White light feels natural and nice.

Where do you not have to pay for glasses? Here in the UK (which is not the US) children and low income people get free basic glasses, but any special coatings, tints, frames or adult glasses you have to pay for.

How is this uplifting?

I don’t like the idea that people should write stuff to get upvotes. The goal should be communicating your honest thoughts, not trying to please a crowd.
