  • That’s also a possible, but as I and any other person with an illness, mental or otherwise, can tell you. An illness isn’t you, it doesn’t define you. That doesn’t make it easier (or mean “gee thanks, I’m cured”). However, it’s worth noting the distinction and thinking about imo. I’m just some random internet arsehole so who gaf what I think but I think the past few comments are correct. You have value regardless. If you got to one place, even if it’s bad and made easier due to illness, there are ways to the other places. Even if incredibly difficult. Either way, I’m hoping you find that way, for whatever that’s worth.


  • Said people have usually gotten to that state of mind via their circumstances. Can it not stand to reason there exist circumstances to bring them to another state? One where they may realise that their circumstances (be it family or otherwise) aren’t necessarily a reflection of what they are or could be?
