Dude, you’re already bagging it, you need to do the next step: lay out the rice flat and use something THAT WONT CUT THE BAG to divide your rice up into portion sizes. Freeze flat and you’ll have easy access to portioned rice that you can easily thaw!
Also, noticing your username, cooled cooked rice is better for your blood sugar than fresh cooked rice, so there’s that.
I saw a video where people have been freezing their rice … which is something I need to start doing because I just wind up eating way too much rice for meals.

I hate it when rice is separate in the menu and you can’t tell from the price whether it’s for sharing or if they’re just ripping you off.
My rule of thumb is if the menu has like 300 items and written with size 10 font, rice is going to be included and will be idiot sized.
If there’s only 15 items, or the menu has the word “Asian fusion”, then assume rice is extra and will be like a small non-sharable bowl.
That’s a good rule of thumb actually.
In my younger days that would be a normal serving. And I might have a second bowl too.
