Back in the day at the Ritz Carlton for the red wine reduction sauce, a HUGE amount of berries went in.
So yeah, it goes amazing with meat.
Honey glaze is a thing, and sweet/savory combinations exist like pork chops and apple sauce, turkey and cranberry, etc. So it is not unfathomable that steak with honey and berries could work.
Speaking of which, this would be a lot better if the berries were made into an applesauce-like sauce. Pork chops taste good topped with applesauce so I imagine that medium-rare steak with berry sauce would be amazing too.
Yeah it’s pretty much like a sweet ham, but with beef.
You should totally try it though, mixed berries go great with anything, and honey is far from the worst thing to put on a steak.
Also, was this screenshot taken with a Polaroid?
Maybe they have a blue light “filter” enabled which shifts colours towards the reddish orange end of the spectrum.
Blue light filters don’t show up in screenshots anymore, though, unless they’re using a third party app that creates the filter by utilizing the “draw on top” permission, instead of the filter that came with their phone (and I don’t understand why anyone would use such an app when every phone has a filter now).
To me it looks more like they stuck an Instagram filter on top of the screenshot for whatever reason. The subtle glow around the text is what makes me think this.
