Please recommend decaf coffees that taste good… can’t have caffeine but love coffee. I read somewhere that there are different processes, but I don’t understand the differences or where to buy them. Thank you

Edit: I ended up bookmarking the George Howell recommendation for next time and ordered a Guatemalan dark roast sugarcane/EA option at a big online retailer.

Seconding the advice to just check local roasters.

If you’re looking for cheaper it’ll be challenging. Wegmans carries a couple whole bean decaf varieties (espresso and something medium roast). Trader Joe’s always seems to have whole bean French roast. And there’s some bulk ones on Amazon probably worth a shot - used to get SF Bay decaf there.

I find that most local, or partially local roasters have a good online service. I get a roaster out of Madison called Wonder state and their decaf is very good. I’d say the best way to make sure you have good flavor is by using whole bean.
