Turns out they taste pretty great too. Low acid fruit and light chocolate notes for sure. They say milk chocolate, vanilla, dark cherry. I’m not sure I get the vanilla but the other two are pretty spot on. These will eventually get a bean review post too, but that may take me a while.

      Not yet. I’m leaning more towards Gaggimate at the moment actually but I’ve got a few purchases first before that happens. I just bought a Cafelat Robot and now I need to save up for a grinder, but the Gaggimate will come.

        Goddamn that’s a fully featured prebuilt kit, and not too expensive. Impressive. I’m using an old Silvia with PID and unlikely to change it but I’d probably get this if I had a Gaggia.

          Yeah, it’s pretty good value for money. And the software is open source too (I think, maybe just source available, I can’t remember now) whereas Gaggiuino has gone closed. So I like supporting that too.

          I did also consider just getting a PID on the top and calling it a day, but we’ll see.
