What’s everybody doing? Keeping your beans on the driveway or bringing a glass vial down from the ISS every morning?

My roaster ships in resealable paper bags with one-way valves. I could see myself sticking some tape over those, but that’s about it. I’m done with a bag in about four weeks anyway.

    I figure if the bag with the valve is good enough to ship it in and/or keep it on the store shelf for a couple months, it’s fine for my cabinet. I do have a canister with a one-way valve that’ll get almost all of the air out, but that’s for a 2-lb bag that I won’t necessarily be getting through in a short amount of time.

      I’m with you, but it looks like that may not always be the case. Speaking of cabinet though, I leave bags on the counter and may move them into a cabinet instead. Slightly cooler.
