Those people have zero power politically or economically so I have no idea how they are holding anything back, by definition, conservatism is what is holding us back. I suppose all of that, though, depends on what your vision of the future looks like. I want a vibrant, lively, celebratory, affirming, prosperous future for every human being. Idk how that is somehow controversial today but here we are.
