I’ll be honest, I wrote that in anticipation of someone bringing up old gripes. Snopes generally does good work.

I hadn’t realized just how long it had been, and frankly barely remembered what happened. There have always been accusations of bias or quality issues, but the thing that got people really upset was this:

As I recall, they kept the cofounder on as an executive after this, and that did more reputational damage.
