Aliens is such an outlier in the orginal trilogy. Like it’s an action movie jammed in between two horror films. In a way, it’s kind of awesome that it exists like that because the horror gets to ratchet down if you’re watching the whole trilogy. But the genre changing from horror > action > horror has always made it hard for me to compare Aliens to Alien 3. Alien is still the best out of all of them and might be the best sci-fi horror films ever made.
