Are there any double walled cups out there that are actually durable? Or maybe super thick glass cups that have a similar effect. I love the look of espresso in a double walled glass but with cats I’m worried they could break.

Well, a couple reasons. Firstly, I don’t usually drink my espresso right away, usually I’m doing both coffee and breakfast at the same time in order to get out the door in time for daycare and work, so sometimes it’s 5+ mins before I can drink it and in my single walled glass it gets cold. Another reason is I like to see what I’m pulling while I’m pulling it. It’s good to see the side profile while it’s being pulled so I can see how much crema, and the colour of the liquid itself. I like to see as much as I can, personally. As a third, but much less important reason, it does just look the coolest. And I like to take pictures of my espresso pulls, both to post here and to send to my wife. She then does the same and we compare to see who pulled the nicer looking shot. It’s a fun little game.
