      Cult members. Jesus was a very successful cult leader in his time. He used the framework of an existing religion, and cast himself as a central figure in it. We’ve seen modern examples of this tactic.

        It’s only a cult until you make it big and hit that mainstream success, then you’re a religion.

          It got turned into a religion long after his his death. He died a cult leader, taken out by the state.
